I recently read this article on Write-To-Done (nice blog on writing). The article recommends Merriam Webster as the must-have online dictionary. I would like to differ.

Update: Google has entered the market with Google dictionary and swiped everyone clean.
New winner: Google Dictionary search. Check out this google chrome extension. I would suggest though you add “http://www.google.com/dictionary?langpair=en|en&q=%s&hl=en&aq=f” to your browser search engine.
